This book is a companion volume to the famous Hey Groves' Synopsis of Surgery and Tidy's Synopsis of Medicine and like them is designed to present in a convenient manner and in the shortest possible compass, every fact of anatomical importance to the senior student, as well as to the busy practitioner. In thoroughness, clarity and systematic arrangement, it easily maintains the very high standard of the series. The book is divided into two main parts, the anatomy of the normal, and the anatomy of the abnormal. The first part sets out, system by system, all the essential facts of the normal human body. Each chapter is a complete essay by itself. While not pretending to be a full description, all surgically-important facts are emphasised.
